This evening’s great quote is from Ralph Waldo Emerson, and I’m sharing it with you because today was the very first of the acoustic music and storytelling events that I am hosting with my good friend Emer. The gigs are held in the AH-MAH-ZING chapel in Stoke Newington’s Abney Park Cemetery, and today was just a cloud of loveliness wrapped in sugar and sweet things. We’d only had three weeks to get everything ready, so we were slightly worried that no one would show up, but they did, and they sat attentively, and all was well with the world for a few hours. Now, if only it would stop bloody raining.
